I am Amanda (Kokonami) Ellickson RN, BSN. I am certified in advanced fillers and Botox, advanced facial anatomy and facial balancing, PRP (platelet-rich plasma), PRF (platelet-rich fibrin), PDO threads, and cannula techniques.
My medical career began in phlebotomy in 2002, and I went on to graduate from Mount Mercy College in 2007 with my BSN in Nursing. Since then, I’ve worked at Mercy, St. Luke’s, and the UIHC, where I specialized in newborn IVs and built experience across mother-baby care and the operating room in gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics, and eye surgery. Today, I bring that clinical foundation into my work as a nurse injector, where safety, precision, and artistry meet.
Along with nursing, I am a wife & mother of 2 young & very busy boys, an animal lover, artist & a bookworm.
I am a strong advocate for mental health and believe that self-care is not a luxury—it is essential for living well. Beauty, to me, isn’t about chasing perfection; it’s about honoring your own uniqueness. My greatest focus is helping people understand that they are their own greatest work of art, worthy of care, attention, and celebration. Every aspect of my work is grounded in the belief that when you nurture yourself, your authenticity shines—and that’s the most genuine kind of beauty.
